About Us

Swedish-born chef Tomas Eriksson brings a wealth of experience to Bar Ingo, having worked in some of London’s top kitchens, including Soho House. Known for his refined small plates inspired by San Sebastián, Tomas has become a familiar face in Thanet’s restaurant scene. After opening New Street Bistro and the ambitious Waverley House in Margate, Tomas and his son Rio now run Bar Ingo in Broadstairs. With an open kitchen and a focus on community, Tomas aims to create a space for all occasions—whether it’s a glass of wine, a special dinner, or a quick bite—all served with a welcoming touch.
